The world of Ferus

The world of Ferus is an ancient one. It is a world filled with many different races and many different magic's. A long time ago a great God of destruction came from another world claiming Ferus for his own (Leveros). The three great Gods of Ferus fought mightily with the foreign God striving to protect their world and the many inhabitants of it that they considered their children. The power of the destructive God was too great and they could not defeat him completely. In the end the battle ended in a draw and the destructive God had lost much of his power. Neutered and humiliated he retreated into hiding to build up his power and armies that he might come once again make his claim on Ferus. The three Gods new that they needed to do something to protect their world. Each created with their powers a stone and invested some of their own magic into each one. These were sent out and hidden in the world. There is a prophecy that the chosen ones who are meant to be the guardians of Ferus and protect the world from the great destroyer will be recognized by their birth marks. Each birthmark matching the symbol of the God whose stone is destined to be fused within them. When the stones are placed in the vessels, and then are left for a thousand years to grow and incubate becoming one with the vessels, they then become the Guardian. If the stones get into the wrong hands; they possess powers of the Gods and can become a strong weapon of destruction.

• First was the goddess Terina, who watched over all the land. Her stone was placed for protection amongst the Wolfen-Kin a race close to nature.
• Second was the God Solis, who gave his stone to mankind since they alone were strong enough to build their cities under the sun trying always to defy the skies.
• Third was the God Maiestas. A secretive quiet god who over looks magic in all its most basic forms, studying the universe and dimensions around him. He placed his in another dimension where only those skilled enough in magic could come and retrieve it.

Many thousands of years have passed since that time and most only know the prophecy of the Sun God's guardian. They think that is just an old myth with which to lull their young to sleep at night.
