The Characters

Clarence is your average every day typical young nerd. He works in tech support and reads as many fantasy stories about knights rescuing maidens and killing dragons that he can. Unfortunately he himself never has any adventures and most girls make fun of him or just ignore him. That is until he finds himself drawn into another world where he not only needs to survive, but find his own power so that he can save the world from those that would destroy it.

Alethea is part of a race from Ferus called Wolfen Kin. Her race is very close to nature and magic. She lives in the woods with her familiar and friend Gunther fighting off those people and creatures that would try to hurt her home and the animals within it. Gunther is almost like a parent to her having raised her in the woods, after her village was destroyed when she was very young. She is a strong fighter and has strong survival skills from living in the wild.

Gunther is Alethea.s familiar. He is a giant wolf from her home woodland. He is highly intelligent more so then wolves in the earth world. They share a telepathic connection which was bound when she was a child. Her village was attacked and destroyed by monsters, and many of her tribe were scattered. Gunther saved her from being attacked and raised her in the woods. Gunther is very protective and fierce but always loving and gentle towards Alethea.

Sirena is of an ancient race of water naiads and has spent many years studying magic and the make up of the world as a mage in the order of the black lotus. She is very old although she looks beautiful young and elegant. She tends to have a winsome personality which hides from people around her the extremely analytical mind that she has. She is very ancient and has lived long before the time that the stone was placed in Clarence. No one knows what her true age is. She was sent by the head of her order to retrieve Clarence from the world he was sent to. She follows Clarence watching over him and subtly manipulating where he goes from the background. No one can tell if she has ulterior motives or if she is genuinely trying to help them.
